Coaching is a relatively new approach to training and development. Many of the techniques and tools used in coaching have been adapted from tried and tested psychological approaches and applied to different goals and circumstances.
The client and their organisation are always the focus of the services we provide. This is especially important for coaching activities.
The "Coaching Contract" we develop with the client ensures that everyone is focused on appropriate and relevant development goals.
Personal & Professiional Development
We support our clients to discover the goals that are important to them in developing personal strengths and strategies to achieve these goals. Although there are no easy answers and no 'magic bullets' that deliver instant change, we demonstrate to our clients powerful techniques which they can practise and use effectively. We reinforce the idea that the goals, skills and achievements all belong to the client, giving them a strong basis for future achievements.
Where appropriate, we will use trusted 'traditional' training approaches and, especially when working on individual achievement, we will teach clients how to use effective approaches taken from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
